Irma Janzen
Biography
Irma Janzen is a native of Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico. She earned her Elementary Teaching Credential at the “Escuela Normal De el Estado de Chihuahua”. Currently she holds a California Vocational Credential.
Irma has been a Career Technician since 1997; prior to this position she worked 6 years with the Migrant Program through Merced County Office of Education.
She is a member of the Career Paraprofessional Registry and belongs to the California Association of Regional Occupational Centers and Programs (CAROPCP). She is a mentor for 11 students under the Youth Opportunity Program. She volunteers for the Merced Probation Department for the Youth Accountability Board.
Irma is the advisor for the Hispanic Youth Leadership Council at Livingston High school. In her spare time she teaches Mexican Folklorico dances and enjoys taking her family to cultural events.
