Miriam Garcia
Biography
Miriam Garcia was born and raised in Mexico. She graduated from Golden Valley High School and attended Merced Community College where she received her Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. She then attended California State University Fresno and graduated with a Bachelors in Spanish. She is currently working on her Masters degree in Education.
Ms. Garcia previously worked in the Migrant Education Program as a Counselor Assistant, where she assisted students to meet graduation requirements and to obtain the opportunity to enroll in a university.
She enjoys reading, doing outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
