There are 23 California State University campuses for students to choose from. Admission to these campuses is based on GPA, SAT I or ACT test scores, and satisfactory completion of particular coursework in high school.

Students must pass the following courses with a C or better in order to be eligible for admission to any of the CSU campuses.

  • 2 years of History and Social Science
  • 4 years of English
  • 3 years of Math
    (including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, or higher mathematics)
  • 2 years of Science
    (including 1 biological science and 1 physical science)
  • 2 years of Foreign Language
  • 1 year of a Visual or Performing Art
  • 1 year of College Preparatory Electives
